If you create it, you should own it!

Anything you create in Soundation is your production. You can sell your creation without asking Soundation for permission or sharing royalties.

However, please note that loops and samples are licensed to be used in your production only, meaning that you can’t transfer, upload, share, give, or sell any of the isolated or individual sound files from the studio. Please see our full licensing agreement here.

Of course, who doesn’t want their music to go viral?

Since all of our samples and loops can be used royalty free in music productions, any tracks produced in the studio can then be used for commercial purposes in and on games, YouTube, streaming services, physical CD, etc.

The only restriction is that our individual samples can’t be shared, sold, or used as in-game sound effects. Please see our full licensing agreement here.

Absolutely. After publishing the tracks on your Soundation profile, you can share them on your social networks by clicking the share button on the right side of your track.

To publish, open your project in the studio and then under the “Project” menu on the right side click “Publish Track”. The system will begin processing your track, and a pop-up will prompt you to “Edit Track info”.

Once you click “Edit Track Info”, you’ll be led to a track page where you can add a description, picture and genre category.

You’ll also be able to choose if you want your track to be visible, if comments are allowed, or if you’d like listeners to be able to download your track. Remember to hit “Save” for the settings to be activated!

To get an embed code for your track, click the “share” button on the top right corner of the player. On a new window, you’ll be able to see an embed code, which you can copy and paste into the HTML editor section of your site’s editor. A player will then form on your blog or website.

The number of plays you get from your blog or website will be included in the number of plays shown under the track on your Soundation profile.
